Our biggest enemy, indeed the world's biggest enemy, has been invading the West for years, aided and abbetted by stunningly stupid politicians, like Theresa May, who signed the UN's (China's) 'Compact for Global Migration'. The idea that Russia is an enemy of the West is for low IQ fools. We don't need nuclear submarines, we need a large, domestic, patriotic army urgently.

"No Russian ever called me a Gammon".

Our enemies are not the Russian people but Westminster, The City of London, Wall Street and on the other side, the Trotskyite school teachers brainwashing our school.

Very good piece Matt. Personally, I’d fight for the Britain I grew up in, but don’t know where I live now. I don’t recognise it. In fact, I’m more inclined to join a revolution against current Establishment that has betrayed this country for 30 years now.

I would fight for freedom , against the radical left and the tea towel Palestine / Hamas mob , but not against the Russians or anybody else , they’re not a threat or the enemy , the enemy is within ,,

Your moving recollections of your grandfather made me think of my own grandad....he died when I was a baby of lung cancer so I never got to know him. He'd enlisted in the Yorkshire Regiment in 1914, fought at the Somme and was also sent to Gallipoli where he was mustard gassed and sent home.... WW2 saw him working at the Royal SmallArms in Enfield - I never got to know him, but my grandmother explained the way things were during those dark days of war....surprisingly she said it was a time of people working together, helping each other, enjoying what they had, making do but treasuring each day.

As a society we no longer appear to have their strong character, ideologies, drive and sheer grit. We have allowed ourselves to become apathetic politically, willing to allow a ' trickle invasion' to change everything those previous generations willingly fought, and often died for, to keep safe and whole for us. We have let them down.... and we continue to let ourselves and our future generations down. We MUST change, and change soon.... or be lost forever as a country, as a culture, as a race.

I have read most of Matt's work and love his views. This was brilliant. Thankyou Matt. My Dad joined the Royal Artillery in 1938 when he saw war coming. He left his she shop and went. He was away most of WW2 and was de-mobbed in early 1946 and went back to his shop. I used to take him on Remembrance Day wearing his medals. The last time was in 1985 and we had to leave because his legs were going. He never said much either. In my day most young men had a sense of duty. I joined the Royal Marines on my 18th birthday and after that the police force and later a JP. I now feel utterly ashamed of what our country has become. I shudder to think what my Dad would say now. We sit here in our farm house in Wales feeling helpless. We console ourselves that we will be dead before long so why does it matter. BUT IT DOES!

You are so right Matt. Why should our young fight for this traitorous government regime that is stuffing as many foreign illegal immigrants into our country as they possibly can. To get as many votes as possible when they should not be allowed to vote. I never imagined that in my lifetime I would be ruled by a Marxist communist government hell bent on wrecking our livelihoods, raping and killing our women and children and sending our sons off for slaughter in a war that they should not be involved in.

The enemy is our Government.

The social contract was broken decades ago.

Wonderful piece that captures the essence of what it means to be a fully enrolled citizen.

Our country is no longer supporting us. It is at war with the people who should be being protected. So no, I would not but I would fight for the people of this country

If they introduce conscription I wonder what the exemptions would be? Perhaps "boat people" because they're all traumatised fleeing war and persecution, everyone on PIPs obviously because they're all disabled, migrants because they're not nationals and feminists because although they can do anything a man can do ... That leaves young mostly white mostly working class men, the largest dissident group in the country likely to vote reform or restore (Funny that). I'm probably getting a bit paranoid with the 2nd half of my last sentence.

My grandpa was down the pit at 11. He was at the Somme. He went back down the pit after the war ended. His life was little better than one of slavery. He never complained. The universities don’t acknowledge the difficult lives of his generation. Don’t you know our wealth was built on slavery not on the Industrial Revolution by mine workers, steel and cotton workers. Education has effectively cancelled my grandpa. It makes me both angry and weep.

I would not fight for the Britain as it is today

This government and the previous are ruining the UK I knew

The England of my childhood is dead.

I'm very proud to of been born in Barking (lived most my life in Ilford). The people of Barking did more than any (back in the day) to try and wake up the rest of the country to what was happening with demographic replacement.

I know many people don't want to hear it, but everything the BNP predicted particularly Jonathan Bowden has come true. They had a much better understanding of the long-term trajectory of Liberal Capitalism than most on the Right.

We now live under a Anti White Anarcho-tyranny and there no way I'd fight for it.

We are buying oil, gas, petrochemicals and grain from Russia via 3rd parties whilst the Uniparties tell us they are our enemies and we have 1000 days left.

Do us a favour why would Putin declare war on a Country he already makes money from?

Very moving and powerful, Matt.

My father was in the Chindits. I need say no more as you understand.

I would fight the invasion of British Territory and because I was only able to have one child I would need him to be exempt from conscription. As a woman I would be less useful on the front lines and my medical background would probably see me best used in the military or field hospitals.
