The wealth creators are going and the wealth takers are coming. Doom loop is the right word to describe this: we are decaying from the inside. We have governments, both Tory and now Labour, who not only condone this but encourage it. We are in the process of losing our country, as an 84 year old it will not affect me living in deepest Suffolk but I do feel for others who have to endure our foreign looking streets and ghettoes. We do need action and no party other than Reform is taking any notice.

What would be really useful Matt is first of all to show why the figures for last year were so high, then show graphically the number of indigenous people leaving per year, if this does indeed show that the nett migration numbers are lower due to a higher number of indigenous people leaving then a picture saves a 1000 words.

Hi Michael,

Fully agree a picture is worth a 1000 words. I'm currently working on a manual to try to explain the role of ectopic fat in cardiometabolic health !!! and finding it is very difficult to create these memorable graphics which will stick in peoples brains and encourage them to take action. So yes if in every one of Matts blogs he has one graphic image that would be great but devising them is dificult.

As soon as I saw the BBC trumpeting the fall, I started to question the numbers. We’re clearly being replaced! We all need to contribute to stopping this now!

Vera Lynn:

There’ll always be an England

And England shall be free

If England means as much to you

As England means to me

But England doesn't mean much to far too many people (except as a source of handouts). Updated lyrics:

If England no longer means as much to you

As England means to me

Then England shall not be free

And England will soon not be

I've believed for many years that the emigration and immigration of British citizens should be counted amd reported separately from that of foreigners because they are different things. So why are they counted and reported together? To muddy the waters and disguise the size of foreign settlement?

It was always about gross migration and the replacement of talented tax paying predominantly white workers with predominantly Pakistani, Bangladeshi and African unskilled benefit taking immigrants. Ive said for years the only relevant number is gross immigration as it shows the real effect on our economy and crucially our culture.

I merely like my country now, I USED TO LOVE IT....and that LIKE is rapidly turning to disgust and a growing desire to leave it. I have lost the belief that Reform UK will be able to get into power soon enough to save our country..... these marxist socialists will have completely ruined it by 2029, leaving a shell of the once proud, free country our forefathers fought and died for. That's if they haven't turned us into a communist dictatorship run from beneath by a growing islamist hoard and stopped even more rightful elections.

More sleight of hand from the government. More truth from Matt. Can’t really blame young and ambitious Brits for seeking a brighter future elsewhere but is deeply sad for the country to be losing its lifeblood.

ONS and all government data is badly in error because they never get results as a by product of normal administrative operations. They make estimates from surveys and guesses from obscure sources.

In the case of immigration the situation is particularly absurd. What could be easier than for the Border Control (sic) agency to record for everyone entering the country who they were and why they had come. Those with time limited permission to be here should be tracked and their departure accounted for on exit data.

As that annoying TV advertisement would say "simples".

Can they do that - no! Either they don't bother recording why people enter the country, from where, what nationality, in groups or alone, with dependents or not, etc, etc, etc or they record it but their administration systems are so weak they cannot or will not extract the results.

A Minister responsible for the borders should have a dashboard which shows dailky, trends and yeat to date data on these matters but clearly no minister now or in the past has found it odd that no such data is provided.

What I can't get my head around is why 'they' are doing this to the country. They must be able to see what the rest of us see. I assume this is just a continuation of 'The Great Reset', break the idea of national pride and patriotism and then they can control us along with the disgraceful Digital ID cards. When we have a government that is even more autocratic or one that is governing following religious ideology then the Digital ID cards will spell real danger to anyone who does not conform. That will mean all of us following Matt.
