As a resident of the north, I am familiar with several of the towns mentioned. Whenever a grooming gang is busted and arrested the names and faces are shown on mainstream news and in the papers. We are all aware of the minority origins of the majority of those involved. This is why there is such a gulf between the elite and the people - the people can see what's going on and yet feel powerless to call it out - despite northerners being known for telling it like it is they remain afraid of being labelled a racist and so just keep their heads down. It will erupt at some point I am sure.

I'd love to see the video and the reaction to you making this point. Must have been like a grenade going off in there...I hope some of them can read up about the reality of this atrocity that has and is happening on our doorsteps...

Our evil, Marxist liberal media, with the BBC complicit more than any other as 'national broadcaster', are the most guilty parties here. They lie and lie and lie BY OMISSION which is why the public are so shocked when the facts are presented to them on all of these subjects. But the big wake up calls are coming, including several this coming Remembrance weekend.

I wish that you were right, but I have a terrible feeling that it has gone too far now, the authorities have already emasculated our society so much that I believe that this weekend will simply demonstrate that we are now subservient to immigrants, in the same position of the Aboriginal people of Australia or the native Indians of the USA. The police are now a Left-Wing, anti-British organization and will not hesitate to act violently towards white British people. Our only hope is a military coup, but don't hold your breath.

It’s difficult to judge numbers when civilised people don’t march and threaten violence. But there are very many prominent academics, politicians and journalists who are fighting back in a constructive way. Am for ever grateful to the likes of Matt and Toby Young, the DDU team, Spiked online, Andrew Doyle and the Battle of Ideas to name the most prominent. Don’t give up hope.

That is why I think that Matt is very brave, but it is an uphill struggle, when anyone who speaks out could lose their job or be debanked just for expressing a view; the situation now is no different to Nazi Germany or the Soviet Union, where saying the wrong thing would see a visit from the Gestapo or Stasi. What sort of country have we allowed to develop? It really is our fault for electing these Fascists/Communists, although to be fair, we were all taken in by the lies of the politicians.

I’m confident it will reach a tipping point and then snowball as more and more people push back in whatever way they can. Imagine what it would look like if the majority of millions marched on the streets. Comparatively, the marchers are not that many. Most people want to protect their jobs and family at the moment but, I, for one, will not stay silent on antisemitism in this country. I keep remembering what Matt and Christopher Rufo said about making small but significant changes using a small team, rather than marching only to be called racists. E.g. Matt’s Freedom of Speech law.

I am hoping that Matt has political ambitions and that he is using the platform he has created to raise his profile as a prelude to entering politics. He is active around the Reform Party, although I don't know if he is a member. Matt is young and energetic, and could appeal to younger voters in the way that the criminal Blair did, although hopefully with more integrity!

What has destroyed the Conservative Party is the selection of so many Left-Wingers; quite why this has happened I don't know - whether they have been imposed on local Associations or whether they have been the choice of them - but most Conservative voters still think that the Party is on their side, when in fact they are the enemy. There are still some outstanding Conservative MPs, like Frost, Baker, Swayne, Davis, Rees-Mogg, and newer ones like Miriam Cates and Dannny Kruger, people who if shepherded by Matt could save us, but time is running out.

I wish you were right, but in our post-rational world, a victim class can do no wrong. A member of an oppressor class can do no good. The state is either powerless or complicit. The rest of the population is divided. Most are more interested in what’s on TV and the latest box-set. Some put their heads in the sand and pretend there’s nothing to see. The rest shake their heads, and weep inwardly as they pour themselves another drink.

This is a stunning summation Matt. Maggie Oliver will be proud of you. My heart goes out to the countless number of girls who have been affected. In the current surreal climate, one can’t help but feel a period of reckoning is finally approaching.

Thankyou for the sheer weight of evidence you adduce to support the uncomfortable facts you present.

You are a brave man Matt and would make a great Prime Minister. The problem which is at the heart of the grooming scandal is Islam. The Quoran make it plain that 'Infidels are no better than the animals in the field' therefore Muslims have Carte Blanche to use and exploit non-Muslims; this is made clear in the remarks quoted by the victims that they were called slags, bitches and prostitutes.

I cannot even begin to understand the thinking of the Left - why they should put the sensibilities of Muslims before the welfare of British people. Partly it is due to hatred of the white working class, but that does not explain all of it. We will see more evidence of this at the weekend when the inevitable clashes between British people commemorating Armistice Day and the Islamic revolutionaries marching occur; I guarantee you that the police will take no action against violent Muslims calling for Jihad and antagonizing the old soldiers, but will arrest anyone British who stands up for our history and culture, and will label them Far-Right thugs.

Maybe the left has recognised before everyone else who will be running the country soo snd they are hoping to buy preference and survival.

I wonder how many of them went away and actually read the reports. I suspect most of them are academic but ignorant. Like most elites and nimbys they won't accept a word anybody says until it lands on their own doorstep. Experience is a great revelation.

WELL DONE MATT! The truth must out and you've helped the process.

I've worked on the grooming gang scandal - imo the worst social crime for two hundred years - in both Rotherham and Rochdale, and it's deeply deeply frustrating to see how the local authorities and the South Yorkshire and Greater Manchester police have knowingly thrown these underage white working class girls (and some boys) to the Pakistani Muslim wolves.

I calculated that over the past 30/40 years some quarter of a million (yes, 250,000) girls nationally have been abused and raped by these gangs, from Plymouth to Newcastle on Tyne and Chesham to Peterborough, and of course Oxford itself, almost all in plain sight of wilfully negligent authorities.

Thank you for throwing your weight behind the campaign to expose this horrendous atrocity that is still going on...

Thanks, Matt! Your description of the reaction of those students is a perfect example for the perpetuation of the ever increasing gulf between the New Elites and ordinary people. Those in Telford, Rochdale, Rotherham will be happy to learn that their experiences are wrong because some Oxford graduates, heads firmly stuck in the sand, tell them so, won't they!

I am reminded of Orwell’s quote: “You have to be an academic to believe some things; no ordinary person would be so stupid.”

As I observe people more and more I increasingly believe that intelligence is a weapon that turns against its owner when ideology is involved.

The reality is that most of these Oxford students are actively stupid through their tribalism and contradictory premises: it takes great training and a finely tuned mind to maintain such a web of contradictions. and lies In the face of clear evidence.

As Anthony Daniel’s so brilliantly echoes Orwell: “some things are so obvious that only an academic can fail to see them.”

WOW ! It could have been titled "In Praise of Homogeneity" but thank you Matthew and great credit to you for taking on that lot.

Could there be any more excoriating summary of who and what the present and future ruling class really are?

So sad. Libs conflate ethnicity with culture. And go to the end of the world to act like they are the same. Simple fact: Man may have been created equal but some cultures raise a lot of people people who are outright "mental."

I protected two young girls from being taken by Muslims in Barrow in Furness - I work here. The police were told but subsequently ‘lied about this’ (they said the families involved didn’t want it taking further) actually on the Bay radio which I overheard. I rang this station and spoke to the newscaster - one Peter Storey, to ask him (cus I needed prof) if the cops had given him this story, he became slightly defensive but said ‘yes’ but what’s the problem, I retorted that the problem was that he had repeated a ‘direct lie’ right across Cumbria Lancs and probably most of Yorkshire and that the cops hadn’t been to that family home, let alone conducted any interview. So two of us began to write letters to the MP, the PPC and the cops After 37 letters we were ‘granted’ an audience with the chief cop who sat there in front of 10 of us and said he was ‘sorry’ for the errors of the police. I retorted that this was no damned error and what had occurred was entirely deliberate and that we hadn’t come here to be insulted and ‘lied to’ after which, he numbed a half arsed apology.

Around a fortnight later I was arrested and taken to Carlisle court under a charge of ‘perjury’ (yes really). I saw 3 judges in total ‘all of whom’ had a go at me partially because, I refused to stand for them but after 3 days, was ‘allowed’ to go home !

THIS is where the police are and I despise them with an absolute ‘passion’ !

Aayan Hirsi-Ali has written a very powerful book about the negative impact upon women, particularly poor women, of uncontrolled large-scale immigration especially illegal immigration from certain areas of the globe. A very sobering read.

An excellent book, I have it also... she’s scathing about the mass migration into places like UK... people like her left their country to escape these vile perpetrators that’s where the west went wrong, we haven’t helped the people that really needed it we just assumed ‘they’ must all be good people because of the minority status 🫤

The problem is that the woke liberal elites never have to come face to face with these issues. Consequently they are able to exist happily in their fictive little world, dealing only with people like themselves who mirror and endorse their worldview.

Matt is that rare creature - a highly intelligent and brave academic who has punctured their illusory multicultural utopia, and as a result they will seek to vilify and ostracise him.

An interesting article which highlights the blinkered view of the liberal elites who have single handedly destroyed the further education sector for a generation of young people. It is also scandalous that the crimes of the grooming gangs were covered up by those who should have been protecting those affected. It was largely left to GB News to expose the sorry saga. The regime were annoyed at this, so the excellent Mark Steyn was forced out.
