I have lived in a Muslim country and worked with Muslim men. The vast majority told me that non Muslim women and any who did not cover were whores and could be 'used' by them. Pretending that this problem does not stem from religion is the best way to perpetuate it. Allowing unrestricted Muslim immigration with no effort to assimilate or teach them about our culture is the human equivalent of the introduction of Japanese knotweed in gardens.

Starmer was a useless DPP ignoring the Horizon scandal as well as grooming gangs. He and his friends, like Mayor Khan, have made fortunes representing Muslim extremists. The Labour party has benefited from a Muslim, mainly postal vote, culture that supports it. Amongst the many failures of the Tory governments I would put high up the failure to abolish postal voting for all except those with genuine medical or business reasons.

The grooming scandal was kept quiet because it happened in Labour controlled areas. The idea that those who ignored it may form our next government is horrifying.

This and the many other actions or omissions of this government which we criticise are only failings if you assume the Tories have similar values and objectives to us.

To spend 14 years digging deeper into left and woke policies suggests to me that their time has been a great success in their eyes.

It is no use criticising their performance instead we have to complain about their values and objectives which are a dialect in difference from the rest of the elite.

Agreed. Sadly all political parties now live in a bubble that excludes common sense and the majority of the people. In the coming General Election we have the chance to radically change direction by voting for the SDP or Reform. I pray enough have the courage to do so.

Japanese knotweed? You might want to rethink your analogy.

We have a weak, pathetic Government, hidebound by the woke Civil Service who are largely immigrant workers themselves, who despise the working class; by the UN Compact on the free-movement of people, and the Human Rights Act. So, with no will to act and nobody in authority who has the courage to tackle this issue, what do you expect? It is funny how all the feminists in Parliament and the media rushed to condemn Jeremy Clarkson when he poked fun at Meghan, yet when it comes to the rape, abuse and torture of young girls, they are all silent.

We live in a country full of pathetic virtue signallers, who could not care less about anything unless it has points-scoring value, and as the working class are the underclass of society, then the virtue signallers are happy to leave well alone and blame the girls themselves; anything but be forced to condemn those nice Pakistani men. If Margaret Thatcher had been PM during this episode there would have been an earthquake, but then again she had guts and was scared of no-one; the current bunch of people in charge are feckless weasels who disgust me.

Strong words Colin but spot on, 100%!!!

Thatcher did nothing to stop immigration including training our own people.

You are kidding? Immigration was miniscule when Thatcher was in power, it only began in huge numbers when Blair opened the door, which every other EU country failed to do.

And even that wasn't as big as the last 10 years, they deported more too.

The grooming gang scandal is the UK's biggest social crime for the past 200 years - since slavery was abolished. I calculate that perhaps 250,000 predominantly white English usually underage girls - and a significant number of boys - have been abused and had their lives wrecked by predominantly Pakistani Muslim men over the past 40 years.

And all this has happened while the local authorities and police culpably and wilfully looked the other way.

And as you found amongst the elite at Oxford, Matt, there is still a deliberate and very loud denial of the scandal - a bit like the Post Office and the infected blood scandals, but much more so.

I still remain a fan of Tommy Robinson who, while certainly no racist, has been courageously and rightly highlighting the Islamic nature of the grooming gangs - and got viciously cancelled by the state and all its associated medal and legal apparatus.

You'd better be careful yourself Matt, or you'll go the same way...

If the UK simply capped immigration as Australia does, it woud make refusal of visas routine rather than exceptional so there would be even stronger grounds for putting pressure on Pakistan. The British political elite seem to place no value on the country and society they claim to serve.

Six years for rape?! Served only two?!!

What planet do the elites live on. It is t planet earth.

Four only to be sent back. Really.

Excellent idea - but it won't be implemented, not when 'our young elites' at Oxford think that the grooming scandals are 'a lie'. Since it was The Times' investigative reporter Andrew Norfolk who wrote about this in 2012, and since what is written in The Times is true, according to the New Elites' belief system, the grooming gangs did exist: it's true and not a lie.

I'll not even hint at what I think a Starmer government will do about deportation ... after all, those scandals happened on their watch, under local councils run by their Party.

But let's not forget that those criminals all have 'human rights' lawyers, that their 'human rights' outweigh ours because of all those ~isms and above all let's not ask why our dear New Elite 'feminists' who lambast everyone because of 'patriarchy!' haven been so amazingly, eloquently silent ever since the scandal; first made it into the national news all those dozen years ago ...

Pakistan is currently repatriating hundreds of thousands of Afghan 'refugees'. They can do it themselves but don't want us doing it to them. Deport all foreign criminals and strip them of UK nationality. Stop all foreign aid especially to Pakistan. Stop immigration and reverse it while training our own people after a jobs audit.

To say that "racism by whites against non-whites is not the only form of racism" is to seriously pussyfoot around the truth. The number one "racism" in the 21st c West is racism by The Great White Wokerati against THEIR FELLOW WHITES. Number two (and also pretty big) is racism by non-whites against whites. Racism by whites against non-whites is - despite "that great sack of proxy racial guilt that ethnic-whiteness has been dragging along behind it these past few decades" - now just a tiny residue in British society. Which is amazing given those Pakistani grooming/raping/murdering horrors described here. https://grahamcunningham.substack.com/p/take-me-to-your-experts

Won't take them back? Exactly how is that Britain's problem, or the West's problem for that matter? Put them on a military transport. Fly it to Pakistan. Land and then push them off. Frankly, third world countries like Pakistan get away with dumping their rapists on countries like Britain and the U.S. because we respond like a bunch of sissies, yammering on about this law and that convention.

If you've got foreign rapists in your midst, you have to have the cojones to deal with them roughly. Round them up and deport them. And if they come back, execute them. It's all very simple.

Very well said.

Deport, deport, deport. For non-British born citizens it needs to be one strike and they are out, after any jailtime has been served. And if the country of birth won't take them back, life imprisonment. No more softly softly.

So many issues like this: they don't make sense to the average person. Logically, the only reason that this can be, is that we don't have ALL the information. What is the missing information? Who is really in control? What is their agenda?

Expand full comment

Well here's one big part of the missing information..... The average Brit - if asked who is most to blame for the mess we're in - would be likely to say either 'politicians' or 'the rich' or maybe 'Lefty do gooders'. All true enough..... but they would be unlikely to say the 'lawyer class'. Lawyers get a free pass from our mainstream media but the truth is that Britain is run by (and for) its parasitic lawyering class.

Expand full comment

I did (David and I subscribe to each other's Substacks). This was my comment on that post:

"As you say, the lawyering class has enjoyed a massive and longstanding free pass in our supposedly parliamentary pluralist liberal democracies. If voters were asked to identify who they thought was messing with their 'democracy', most, I suspect, would pick either 'the politicians' or 'the rich' or maybe 'Lefty do-gooders'. Hardly any would zero in on lawyers. So perhaps the best thing that a future UK conservative opposition could do (and by 'conservative' I do not mean Tory by the way) would be to try to make the public understand just how much their country is run by lawyers."

Steyn Online today:

Well, Juan Merchan, the corrupt hack judge presiding over this month's Trump trial, is getting worse by the day. Hmm. I wonder why...

LAWFARE: Listening to acting Justice Merchan's charging conference as he accepts every prosecution instruction and denies every Trump instruction - I am convinced the judge knows he's going to be reversed. His ONLY goal now is to secure a conviction for the election. Great... pic.twitter.com/F5OknWz3Lm

Yes Leftist Lawfare is the great elephant in our supposedly pluralist liberal democratic room. And although it's got more brazen recently it's been true for decades now. As we know where the culprits operate, taxis, takeawaetc then it is not difficult for for the police to keep a very close eye on them, local neighbourhood watch can also help. I would also like more attention given to helping the young girls who are at risk of being groomed. Do we know enough about why these girls are vulnerable to interacting with these scruffy old men.

The utter and absolute corruption of the British political class of all colours and creeds.

The weak, spineless liberal-progressive Fake Tory government of the past fourteen years.

The deliberate flooding of this country with immigrants from Asia and Africa by the Fake Tory government and the Treasury for non-existent financial benefits.

The massive extension of far-left Marxist doctrines in education by the disgusting Blair and Brown administrations.

The deliberate mis-reporting, smearing of whistle-blowers and suppression of reporting of these crimes by the complicit British mainstream media, mostly peopled by products of the corrupted education system.

The infiltration of senior levels of the public sector by the Far Left under the Fake Tory government.

The promotion and acceptance in British life of divisive identity politics.

The suppression of dissent by the Government, the media, the elite education system and international bodies like the EU, UN etc.

The sheep-like tendency of the British electorate to accept spoon-feeding, to disregard anything to do with politics as ephemeral and of little consequence to their lives.

Unless there is little short of a revolution in this country and soon, none of this will change and will indeed get worse.

Rwanda may work in practice, but is wrong in principle. We need to cut off the incoming supply of illegal by taking them back and completely stop the so called 'legal' migration. Simple and effective. We need to be brutal about it. At the same time we must leave the ECHR and absolutely stand up to lefty dogma-phile lawyers to cut the support for those already here. Please politicians, just do it!

Can I add one think to this debate.

These issues have been known a *long* time, much longer than the media or politicians would acknowledge.

It was well know when I grew up in Yorkshire the 1980s that girls should not get into taxis at night alone or with other girls. The taxis were almost all operated by Pakistani men who would prey on young women in their taxis offering a free ride for 'favours' or far worse.

One girl I knew was subjected to an assault or what would be considered an attempted rape today. She and her parents reported this to West Yorkshire Police who did precisely nothing whatsoever and wrote her a letter a year later telling her the case was closed.

There was a rota in operation to ferry young women around by parents car and to pick them up late at night so they did not have to use taxis.

The girls knew, the parents knew and the Police knew. Nothing was done.

Expand full comment

Many of their crimes against those young women would be treated as 'honour crimes' just imagine the furor if a few of these vermin were subject to their own cultural norms and were summarily executed.
