I'd be very interested to have a list of the lawyers, the clergy and the judges who allowed this man (and others who have committed crimes, but been allowed to stay) to stay. Name and shame them. Name and shame them loudly.

And sack them.

Yes, and sack them.

There are many prominent defenders of poor desperate asylum seekers like this. The names Justin Welby and Gary Linacre spring to mind.

Expand full comment

Make them house ANY ( ‘ poor, vulnerable, traumatised ..) asylum seeker of their choice for one week.

But they won’t.

Cumberbatch publicly said he would take in an asylum seeker. But rather less publicly he subsequently admitted that he'd had second thoughts, "because my kitchen isn't large enough".

But the clergy in particular don't feel any remorse whereas, arguably, they should. So far the Church's response has been to "pass the buck" and say "We don't make the asylum rules". They are out to "save souls", fair enough if you are a believer, but this clashes with the secular aim which is to above all protect the living. That is why France long ago declared itself a secular society, the "Separation of Church and State".

The first step in erradicating this madness is to have a radical overhaul of the Legal Aid system - core out and remove the funding for the protection of these people, if they come here illegally and want to challenge UK Law, then they'd better have their own resources to do so, otherwise its a win-win situation for all of them - if they fail they stay and if they win they stay - all UK Tax Payer funded. (I wonder how many Lawyers would be queing up en-mass to defend these "deserving" disadvantaged souls then?)

Why do you think they would feel shame over what they and he has done. They would clap each other on the back "job well done" so he can continue to live at our expense and fulfill his culture and his urges (and possibly his real religion too).

Expand full comment

Well, who are the individuals who signed off on his asylum application? How are they going to be held to account for this? Who was the immigration minister under whose watch this was allowed to happen? How will that person be held accountable? Unless there are consequences for their actions, what stops people in positions of authority from doing this again?

Who was the priest? Why are they (C of E) so easily fooled? I’m waiting for an update from St Gary?

Expand full comment

Frankly, the priests don't seem to care one way or the other, they certainly don't want to admit they might possibly have done something wrong. There's no mea culpa. They pass the buck. This is the sort of thing that is giving the Christian religion a bad name.

The Home Secretary could well have been one of those tough talking Tories like Priti Patel or Suella Braverman.

Completely agree, enough is enough. I hate our MPs and political class for what they have done to our country. They ALL need turfing out.

Expand full comment

They hate us just as much. Even now, the same nudge unit and psy-ops people who brought us "don't kill granny" are probably planning another of their repulsive "don't look back in anger" events.

Well, we do have a situation, don't we? This attack and the other stats mentioned by Matt should be highly and repeatedly publicised in the run up to the next general election. This case should be hammered home by Reform everywhere and constantly. The New Elite need to be confronted by it everywhere and all the time.

Get Welby to investigate this Christian ‘conversion ‘

He will tie himself in knots to not blame anyone from his Church

quite, this 'priest' who vouched for Ezedi needs investigating.

He should at least come forward and apologise publicly and admit that he had a part in the ensuing tragedy.

A few years ago there was a real case of persecution. A young Christian woman had been sentenced to death for blasphemy. To be fair, the Pakistani government didn't really want to hang her, but they were under pressure from extremists and public opinion.

They asked us to give her asylum in the UK. Vicar's daughter Teresa May and the rest of the UK human rights establishment said no. It is hard not to hate these people.

I remember that , Asia Bibi was denied asylum by our useless weak kneed politicians there was even a petition to help her . Christians are systematically erased from the Middle east and Africa and no one reports it. We've been appeasing Islam for decades. Leaning towards atheism I dont have a religious skin in either game BUT some even handedness would be nice.

Yes, the compassion the great and the good parade on our TV screens is utterly phony. Human rights lawyers and NGOs are not sincere, for them it is a pretext used to serve other objectives. They happily ignore genuine refugees from persecution.

Expand full comment

Absolutely. When there is a good case for accepting an immigrant, as in the Pakistani Christian case, the government didn't take it, when there is a good case for deporting a dangerous immigrant, they do nothing. I was disgusted by Theresa May at the time

oh you are SO right , anger , frustration and despair are writ large .Ordinary people have known where this was heading for a long time but our spineless politicians have refused to grasp the nettle and the snouts in troughs human rights lawyers are milking the system with NO thought to the consequences of their actions on innocent bystanders. What I want to know is how we deport these criminals if we do not have a returns agreement with the various countries' of origin , why ,because we have no 'international waters ' in the channel can we not turn the boats back ? I want to understand this better because I want to know HOW for instance Reform UK and any other alternative would deal with this. Thanks Matt .

As you said in the TV clip: you and men like you with small daughters must feel especially horrified - and angry. Only when more of those belonging to the New Elite grasp the fact that they are as exposed as we are - see the Tory MP who has now resigned - only then will that New Elite Monolith start crumbling.

It'll be too late for that poor family and more many others who have to bear the effects of the 'diversity' crap the new elites have been pushing on us for decades.

Nothing ‘elite’ about them, they are traitors with agendas, like unelected Cameron, now throwing Jews under the bus.

Let's hope he's made an example of and it's a rarity, but the system shouldn't need you posting about it and talking about it on GB News it should be the default. It is just another example of how utterly broken our society has become. The police are out prosecuting people for tweeting or hurting women's feelings and enforcing the political agenda of free speech (suppression) on its slaves (us).

The idiom "rats from a sinking ship" springs to mind.

Policies continually destroy women's and children's rights and safeguards, whether due to "trans" ideology or because of immigration from countries where sexual abuse is an accepted norm. Please don't pretend they care about women's feelings.

I wish it were just women and children. It's no-holds-barred at the moment.

He won't be made an example of. There will be mental health issues. The establishment will bury this story as quickly as possible, just like the Manchester Arena and Nottingham knife attacks. The criminal justice system is corrupted by political considerations.

We are not being led by fools. We are being ruled by fools. You can vote leaders out of office; against rulers there is only rebellion.

Not only led and ruled by fools but, importantly, being ruined by fools.

I struggle to believe that this is foolishness any more. When all the foolishness leads in the same direction, it is difficult not to suspect malign intent.

One of the reasons that we have this disconnect between the "elite' and the rest of us is that they do not usually experience any of the negative effects of these decisions, as explained by MG. I think another issue is that there appear to be no consequences for people making the decisions, in that, they do not lose the jobs. Yes, politicians may be voted out of office, but the majority will go onto to lucrative work elsewhere. But for the people in charge in the civil service, local authorities, charities, large corporations, banks, institutions, public bodies, police, judiciary and academia, are very rarely held accountable for any poor decisions. If, on the rare occasion that they are forced out, and it is always forced, they just move onto another senior position somewhere else. It is an endless merry-go-round and I really do think this is why the country is failing so badly.

This is the reason that makes me feel a lot less sorry for Mike Freer. It is his party, his government, that is responsible for mass immigration since 2010. They need to feel a lot more pressure on them, especially if it touches their personal lives.

Ive watched the inept Sir Matthew Rycroft being questioned a couple of times. he and his equally useless side kick answering (or not answering) questions at the Home affairs select committee showed just how absolutely USELESS they are but we do not seem to be able to get rid of them.

Why is anyone surprised? Mass, unvetted, uncontrolled immigration has been going on for decades. Facilitated by the LibLabCon parties and cheered on by their Marxist/New World Order fellow travellers in the BBC, ITV, Ch4, Guardian etc and most of the university 'educated' leftist blob running Britain. Today Allison Pearson in the Telegraph says 'The British way of life could be irrevocably changed'. COULD BE CHANGED ALLISON??? You're at least 30 years behind the news! But actually 50 years if you plot the Left's cunning plan to change Britain forever. 'Population replacement' isn't a conspiracy theory, it's a conspiracy fact. This disgusting crime in Clapham makes headlines but it's the low level, never ending violent crime which should be making news - ONS: In the year to March 2023, the total number of offences involving a knife or sharp instrument (excluding Greater Manchester and Devon & Cornwall) increased by 6% (from 44,500 in 2021/22 to 47,300 in 2022/23). Robbery involving a knife increased the most (20%), followed by threats to kill (4.5%) and rape (3%).

Totally agree, our political class should be on the side of and represent the citizens of this country. Reality is they are not now nor will they be so in the future. They are all members of a parasitic global class that is sucking the wealth and life out of the West. We need democratic change (a new party who prioritises their own citizens) but I fear that is going to take at least 5, more likely 10 years under our system.

Completely agree with your post Matt but how do we go about getting a ‘new’ politics. We have a ‘permanent’ government outside No. 10 who seem to ignore the wishes of any MP who wishes to legislate for change and until we overturn them we will have no voice whatsoever except that on social media. All of us subscribed to you would follow you in anything you do, for heavens sake Matt help us.
