An incredibly powerful piece. Thank you Matt for speaking out so clearly and bravely, saying the things that the vast majority of decent people are thinking.
I’m sure that most of us did that ‘thought experiment’ and came to the conclusion that this is a very sick country. It has been made sick by generations of appallingly arrogant people in authority and positions of power who think they know best, that we are too ignorant to understand what’s good for us.
I cried when I heard about that poor boy. How will his family ever come to terms with what happened in those last moments? And I’m crying for what those leaders have done to a tolerant, trusting, self governing country. They’ve created chaos out of order. All of the crime, the rapes, the murders, the street violence, the two tier justice, the insanity…all of it chosen by those leaders in their blind, narcissistic arrogance. May they rot in hell.
Lord Hermer said the suggestion of two-tier justice was "disgusting" and in so doing advanced us a little bit further along "...the path towards chaos and carnage".
The media reported the Henry Novak case but without any sense of genuine burning outrage, without announcing a campaign they would lead over two-tier Britain, and so it too will go down the media and political class memory hole (which is near to overflowing surely).
Thank you Matt for speaking out. It is very necessary for public figures to speak out about this injustice. Given the situation we find ourselves in I really can’t understand why people should feel uncomfortable about speaking out about this unjust situation perpetrated by those authorities who are meant to protect ALL of us not just minorities. It is a national scandal and I would call it a sickness. People need to have the courage to protest and speak out otherwise nothing will change.
Because we, the readers of this substack, are law abiding we are virtually powerless in these situations. We can make our opinions known but not a lot more. I went on the largest march of all time against Blair's anti hunting bill (which he now regrets). I don't want to hunt but for me it was a libertarian issue. Complete waste of time but if we had broken a few windows and done some looting we would have had some notice taken of us - the cowardly police might well have intervened as it was a 'white respectable' demonstration however. One thing I do know is that if Reform does not win in Makerfield we are in serious trouble; I do genuinely believe that we are at an existential crisis moment and, if Burnham wins, we will have even more socialist spite. The police are not on our side and I am no longer on theirs, and that is tragic.
Tommy Robinson's march had facial recognition and a vast police presence. It went off peacefully because nobody went up there looking for a punch up. Meanwhile, the Palestine mob and antifa were all masked up, carrying placards and shouting slogans which were inciting hatred, not that that lot need much encouragement in that direction. Facial recognition? Not a chance. That would be racist.
I don’t think that is true of all police forces only those in Labour strongholds. We have to be careful not to demonise the whole force because there are some very conscientious chief constables and bobbies out there. It’s just the bad ones that come to prominence.
The PCC of Hampshire Constabulary is Donna Jones, a very sensible Tory. Southampton is, as you rightly point out, a Labour stronghold. While Donna attempts to tackle the visible woke dry rot, there is far more growing under the plaster. This applies to the whole of society and like a building, there is only so long it can remain standing before the rot wins. Our societal building is now visibly beginning to sag.
You’ve hit the nail on the head as always. Enough to make you weep. Perhaps when Robert Kenyon wins in Makerfield the tin eared political elite might just take notice of how we all feel but I’m not holding my breath!!
Spot on Matt as always and I share your deep sense of disgust at the 'Establishment' for what it has done and still does.
Given his grotesque and unwanted appearance in the public eye again this week, we need look no further for the architect of 'suicidal empathy' than the appalling Anthony Lynton Blair...
The 'Human Rights' and the 'Equalities' Acts of his vile period of government in particular, and their singling out of 'underrepresented minorities' to be lauded, promoted, imported, appeased and genuflected to at every opportunity.
We're now seeing the results of this idiocy week after week after week.
Nobody can deny two-tier Britain exists now; the case of poor Henry Nowak has given irrefutable proof of that now, and the silence of the media (except GB News where extensive coverage was provided) has shown that they are all complicit in the disgusting behaviour towards white people. I can only pray that Henry did not die in vain, and that the scales may drop from the eyes of many Left-wing lunatics who hate white people and blame them for the world's ills. Let Henry be a rallying point for white people, who can shout from the rooftops 'WHITE LIVES MATTER'.
So well said, Matt. The silence is 'deafening' from this government. I may be going slightly off topic with this but I recall quite soon after the George Floyd situation there was a murder in Paris of a French teacher, Samuel Paty. He was killed because he was trying to inject a little humour into a religious studies lesson which involved poking a little fun at a certain prophet. Certain people seemed to take offence at this in the most unacceptable extreme way. Whilst the world and the UK government were outraged over George Floyd (and it was unacceptable the way he was treated) I don't seem to recall much in the way of 'outrage' over Samuel Paty's murder; he was beheaded by fanatics in Paris and was an innocent man, just trying to deliver a stimulating lesson to his students. Our 'establishment' were too busy taking the knee for a convicted criminal living 6000 miles away, who once held a knife to a pregnant woman, rather than show much concern over an innocent teacher being murdered. Both offences occurred abroad yet there seemed to be only huge outrage at one, just as we are witnessing today.
There are so many examples. That young ukranian refugee was stabbed on a tube train in New York. Her murderer was heard to say ‘I got that white girl’.
Absolutely on point Matt and I share your deep sadness over what this has revealed. Unfortunately the indoctrination has gone on for many years ... The 1990's seemed to be when the world started losing what we used to call common sense and warped ideologies took over. My forbears' generation did not go through wars, tragedy and hardship to usher in a world like this. It makes me sick to the stomach when I think how it betrays their sacrifices...that they made on our behalf. We are a tolerant country but that I fear has been our downfall. We need to stand up and fight back hard. This is our "world war", our call to arms and I think the time is fast approaching where we must act to save the futures of our children and grandchildren. Voting will not be enough because politicians of all colours say one thing and do another, either deliberately or because the blob just carries on regardless. We need true accountability in public life just as we have in our employment; there needs to be a rooting out and real consequences for all those in public office that have failed in their duty as public servants.
Where is our Oliver Cromwell, or our Guy Fawkes? The petty squabbles between certain right wing parties is extremely frustrating and must end. But the answer lies with the people, not the politicians, the whole political system has reached the end of the road and something new is desperately needed.
There needs to be a live listing of all individuals in positions of authority that are committing these atrocities against the innocent British victims of TT justice. There will be a day of reckoning.
I wholeheartedly agree with every word of that Matt. That overused phrase, the silence is deafening, is a glaring fact in this case from the shameful Starmers, Liberals, BBC/MSM etc of this world. They are all complicit in ignoring and pretending this appalling murder, then behaviour from the police which condemned Mr Novak to his death, didn't happen.
People who live in the real world don't suffer from "suicidal empathy", we all have a core set of values that clearly distinguish between right and wrong, justice and injustice, it is only the disconnected elite that do so and cause all this damage. Just how do they reach such influential positions with such misguided judgement.
Another, truly shocking, preventable murder, has once again highlighted double standards ordinary people are now subjected to as a matter of course.
It is sick and there's no other word for it. The word of an immigrant was automatically and unthinkingly taken over the word of a white native, heads must roll but they won't.
Is it really "suicidal empathy" clouding judgment? It seems more likely that many of "them" have gambled, picked a side and hope to surf the wave of what happens next.
The policies that have lead us in to this dreadful situation started with the Race Relations Act of 1965. It ended freedom of choice for British Citizens because the working classes disliked the effect of large scale immigration. That is how long this issue has been maturing. That and similar policies have worked their way into our state and have slowly eroded the original community. Whilst it affected working class districts those unaffected ignored their tribal responsibilities. Now its tentacles are deeply feeling their way into middle class areas. If we do not band together we will cease to be of any consequence to our masters.
Everyone is furious that the unfortunate Henry Nowak was handcuffed while bleeding to death. It was dark and he was accused of racism. Bleeding to death would presumably be pretty visible. Well, not necessarily. If the wound was deep enough, it could easily cut a major blood vessel internally with very little visible external bleeding. Add to this what was a highly charged atmosphere and it is easy to see how mistakes were made. However, within three minutes, Nowak was freed from the cuffs and first aid attempts were made. Such were his injuries that no amount of first aid would have helped him.
The cause of this attack was an allegation that Nowak knocked off the murderer's turban. Who knows, but that is no excuse for murder. I only heard about his death a couple of days ago. George Floyd, who was a career criminal and drug abuser was in the headlines for weeks and months. Now Hampshire Constabulary is in the cross hairs, with demands for the officers' heads for handcuffing a dying man.
They were working through what they were presented with, namely a racist assault against a Sikh. Very quickly, they realised there was more to it and took the appropriate action. No matter what they did, Nowak was doomed but somehow, it is all their fault. When honourable coppers are caught up in this nonsense, no wonder rectruitment and retention is so awful. Who in their right minds would want to routinely put themselves in such a position? Everyone is concerned that there are so few response officers these days. I am amazed that there are any at all.
I suspect that the unfortunate Henry Nowak was in the wrong place at the wrong time. What is done cannot be undone and may he rest in peace. As for the Sikh, he needs to be locked up forever or if not a British citizen, interned and deported to India. Either way, he must never be free to roam our streets again. Of course, he will be eligible for early release and the parole board will bend over backwards to free him.
For this reason, we need a Minimum Sentences Act which clearly stipulates that life means life, concurrent sentences are scrapped, time is served in full and the parole board abolished. Its record of releasing seriously dangerous people who go on to re-offend is awful. Non or naturalised Brits are returned from whence they originally came.
As an aside, I would love to know the racial makeup of the Manchester Airport thugs. 3 Muslims on a jury and they will never get convicted. There is a case to be made for trying such cases well away from the scene of the crime. Remember the vandals who threw the statue of Edward Colston into Bristol docks. The jury acquited them because it agreed with their sentiments. There should have been a second trial well away from Bristol with an unbiased jury. Surely this was an unsafe verdict in that they were acquited not because there was insufficient evidence to prove beyond all reasonable doubt but because the jury approved of their actions. Instead, nothing. Two tier Britain was alive and well under the Tories, which is why they can never be trusted with the country again.
I read that one of the five stab wounds Henry Nowak suffered was to his face. How could the police have missed that? Or did they deliberately ignore it? And is that one of the reasons they won't release the bodycam footage?
We must certainly see the footage. I was unaware that he had been stabbed in the face, but even if he had, could it have been fatal? Nasty, yes, but fatal?
Knives are everywhere. Any non Brit must be deported and a dual citizen have their British citizenship revoked and deported, in both cases never to return. Anybody caught carrying a blade must face at least 5 years inside, longer if circumstances dictate. Any subsequent sentence must be twice as long as the preceding one. The rationale is very simple. If locked up, they can no longer prey on society.
One knife wound was said to be to his face - others to his chest, which is presumably why he couldn't breathe - footage MUST be seen so we can see for ourselves.
The reason this situation has grown and the reason it has become now an existential threat to our continued existence as a people, as a nation, is because the guardians of our civilisation are weak individuals who have no moral compass, no notion of good v evil, no sense of doing the right thing because it is right. They speak words which are convenient in the moment, they denounce without thinking through the consequences for all of us. Our institutions have been inverted, the solid ground we thought we walked on has been upended. Look at how many people are confused about the nature of biological reality and find it impossible to voice what they know deep down to be the truth. Without our realising what was happening, our civilisational roots have systematically been dismantled through a forced liberal consensus until it has become blindingly obvious that we no longer rest upon firm foundations and we have no understanding that there are things being done to us which will inevitably lead to our demise because we no longer have a sense of who we are.
Those of us who do notice are berated and vilified by a mob with intellectually and morally bankrupt ideologies who force people to conform, to stay silent in the face of clear and obvious wrongdoing. The police officers who make these damaging decisions in the moment no doubt have the words of their superior officers and their political masters focusing their minds. Individuals who might wish to do the right thing know that they face disgrace and the loss of their income because the institutions will make examples of them for wrongthink. In that climate it probably is unreasonable to expect individuals to make the morally right decision when so much could be lost while the institution rumbles on, protected by a venal and corrupt establishment. How can people be expected to do the obviously right thing when hardly anyone, from politicians to the talking heads in the media, will jump on the bandwagon to denounce them?
I return to my original point. We are controlled by weak people in positions of power and authority who, through their cowardice have only disdain for those of us who see clearly the damaging consequences of where we are. Until more of us discover our backbone and choose to 'speak the truth and shame the devil' we will continue to race headlong into the destruction of everything we hold dear. This cannot continue and whatever the price we must pay, we must stand up and be counted because to do anything else, to equivocate and bluster meaningless platitudes is to vote for our own demise and there are still some of us who, to paraphrase Dylan Thomas, will not go gently into that goodnight, we will rage, rage against the dying of the light and we will win.
An incredibly powerful piece. Thank you Matt for speaking out so clearly and bravely, saying the things that the vast majority of decent people are thinking.

.....even if unnecessary.

He won't win, unfortunately!

Careful! I can remember someone being arrested for flying a banner which said that.

Agree GB news should spell it out.

Moral outrage from progressives is missing. The sanitised word for evil is "sick"
Wicked murder is wrong and punishment the outcome.
Relativism is a theory which ignores natural justice.
Thank you Matt for expressing absolute moral repugnance at the collective silence of the blob.
