I watched a very badly written episode of Silent Witness on Britbox last night. Will never bother again. Set in Birmingham! What a dump! Such a garbled confused plot that tried to deal with the issue but went nowhere and just had white people perpetrating violence and immigrants as wonderful people. Your thesis on the root cause was on show.
