I was with a retired senior ex serviceman the other day. Shockingly, he told me, mark my words. MPs who have lied, cheated and misled will be taken out, violently and with real retribution. People are quite literally going to take matters into their own hands. Accountability on a scale never seen since Cromwell. If this were to happen, I, not for one second, would condone or even accept acts of violence, no matter how provoked, I could not justify that action. The question has to be asked. How far is too far, how many lies are too many lies and how many laws with taxes are too many. If there was no govt, no illegals, no quangos, no net stupid zero and no international aid. We, all working age tax paying and pensioners would all get £10,700 per annum more, that’s after we’ve paid tax, at the present tax rate! Let that sit a moment🤔

What do traitors deserve? I think we all know.

It’s all about when a tipping point is reached, I believe we are very close to that tipping point, the question is, who is prepared.

"Will be taken out."

By whom/what?

I think there is a serious risk of open violence since these MPs, BBC bosses, police chiefs, lawyers &c. &c. have either carried out crimes directly or, more commonly, colluded in covering them up which is not much better. There is a really dangerous lack of trust in authority, be it Parliament, the police or the judiciary. These people deserve to be punished, no doubt about that but they almost certainly won't be punished legally because of cover-ups. At the same time, us older people quail at the idea of open violence on the streets as in N. Ireland or Twenties Germany. I think we have to try to go for a positive outcome as opposed to revenge even though, in theory, revenge is sweet, less so in practice.

Thank God. I don't need to tell you that we are all stumped as what to do to get rid of this vile incompetent spiteful government. Lead on.

Sounds exciting, you will have huge support!

Can't wait! It needs to be massive, this is Britain's last chance.

Well done Matt and thanks for all you do!

Thank you Matt, for all of the hard work that you are doing, in enlightening us all to the dismal state that our once wonderful country has ended up in. I am looking forward to the next, positive stage in order for us to get our country back again ! Thank you !

The sooner the better. I know not mentioned in your piece Matt but the super Chinese embassy is a massive threat to the security of our country, capitalism it will undermine not least we will no longer be a financial capital and all other Western countries will mistrust any future government. We know the Chinese excel in secretive spying. I sincerely hope this will be stopped!

Disappointed that Kemi didn’t raise this today at PMQs. Although Starmer would probably have referenced ‘breakfast clubs’ as his answer 🙄

This is SO good to hear! We've all been waiting for someone with the facts and knowledge of what to do to speak up, and we are so pleased to hear - can't wait!

The Government’s proposed rewrite of the National Planning Policy Framework quietly but fundamentally changes planning in England. It puts ‘delivery’ of energy, grid and strategic infrastructure above protection of farmland, landscapes and rural communities. Under the draft, developments such as solar farms, battery sites, pylons and substations are deemed ‘necessary’, meaning even the best agricultural land can be sacrificed. Local objections and council decisions are overridden by national policy. This explains why the countryside is rapidly filling with industrial infrastructure despite widespread opposition. If this passes, the countryside ceases to be protected by default and becomes a resource to be consumed — with serious consequences for food security, landscapes and local democracy. The consultation is open until 10 March 2026 and can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/national-planning-policy-framework-proposed-reforms-and-other-changes-to-the-planning-system.”

Thank you Matt we do need people like you to speak out, especially now as so much of our freedoms are being deliberately curtailed and government overreach is now on steroids. As a person not happy to sit back and watch the decent country I grew up in disappear I back you all the way, for our children's futures the time to sit and pretend changes that you have listed are not happening has to stop complacency must end we must all rally and support you and others brave enough to grasp the nettle. Onwards and upwards! 🇬🇧👍

I believe that imperfect Reform are our last chance, electorally, to save our country. However there are small worrying signs of a dip in their popularity. I have felt for a while something MORE is needed and I hope your project, though not directly related to Reform, will be the blast that the public needs to understand just what a state our country is in, the threat from Islamists and the far left, and why nothing but radical change will do.

Jon B's avatar

Reform are literally the uniparty at this point. We need a real patriotic alternative and not some vehicle that’s going to screw over the country just so Nigel can satisfy his ego and become Prime Minister.

Advance UK release their policies on immigration and cultural issues next month. They only have about 40,000 members at present but Ben Habib seems entirely genuine.

Sarah's avatar

Yes, but he is just causing division, and he failed to get elected last time. Will he be standing against the Reform Candidate? Mmm, not impressed at all. I think his ego has got the better of him.

N White's avatar

My hope is that any support that Advance drains from Reform will push Reform to become more radical and more patriotic. That should mollify some of the disgruntled Reform members. The question is, what do Reform really believe in?

Sarah's avatar

But, what have Reform said that is not patriotic? Ben Habib was with Reform and promoted it. He didn't need to leave. Sour grapes and causing division, methinks.

Jon B's avatar

Ben Habib was asking difficult questions (in private) about policy and how the party should be governed. For that Ben was demoted and sidelined by Nigel. Nigel did say mass deportations were impossible (a year before changing his mind) and Richard Tice said he wasn’t bothered about native Brits becoming a minority in their own country. Those are not patriotic sentiments in my book.

An utterly necessary project to focus deepfelt unease and get some honesty back into our public life. Extremely encouraging.

Something big needs to happen to get this government out of power and return England (and the uk) back to the wonderful country I grew up in - thanking my luck stars that I was born here and not anywhere else. I don’t feel like that now and am desperately sad that my children who are in their 20’s didn’t get the opportunities or the feeling of safety and security that I did.

I’m with you all the way Matt! This is giving me hope. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help ‘fight the good fight’.

N White's avatar

Yes, our children have been robbed of the inheritance of their own culture. I'm so glad to have enjoyed the 1970s and 80s.

Never give up, never give in! All right minded people need to "rally round the flag" and Matt is the Standard bearer!
