I wanted to write a short note on Christmas Eve to wish you a Merry Christmas. Whatever you are doing, whoever you are with, whether you are having a good time or a difficult time, I hope this finds you as well as can be.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for joining and supporting our small but rapidly growing community of like-minded people—for joining the conversation, leaving comments, helping us spread the word, and helping us grow.
I think we’ve learned a lot about the world in 2023 and I’m going to be writing more fully about that in the coming days. But for now, I simply wanted to say Merry Christmas and thank you for your support.
Lastly, should you find yourself looking for things to read over the Christmas break here are our ten most read posts of the year. Best wishes, Matt

Thank you Matt and best wishes to you and your family too. I would only add that I’d prefer your legacy not to be leaving the UK as you suggested you might a few weeks ago on Triggernometry, as there aren’t enough like-minded commentators fighting for the silent majority.
Thank you so much for all your thoughtful posts and all your hard work highlighting these important issues to the media. It’s so great to have a high-profile person who can articulate our concerns so knowledgeably and eloquently.
Wishing you and your lovely family a very enjoyable Christmas and a successful New Year.
