Great piece, well said Matt. When faced with the cognitive dissonance, hypocrisy and utter stupidity of those on the left such as ‘Queers for Palestine’ 🤦🏻 I can only hold my head in my hands. Years of leftie indoctrination that they are the morally superior kind ones, has completely destroyed brain cells to the point that they are incapable of hearing and seeing evidence and facts even when they are staring them in the face. They cling to their tribal ideology like children clinging onto a comfort blanket. Education has infantilised generations who are incapable of critical thought and who are too scared to stand up to the tribe. That combined with a Marxist desire to destroy western democracy and culture and we have a situation where the politics of the kindergarten are combined with the terror tactics of fundamental Islam. The future looks grim.

As my reply has been hidden I’ll just add that they’d do well to study the Iranian revolution and what happened to the Marxists.

The Martyr's avatar

Yes the Iranian Revolution is a great example. More recently the treatment of gays in Gaza is also instructive. I wonder why doesn’t a clearly intelligent bloke like Owen Jones get it? Indoctrination? And maybe a realisation that seeing the truth would render his whole life to date a fantasy?

Tenaciously Terfin's avatar

Definitely indoctrination into the be kind brigade. I’m not sure that I’d call him intelligent though!

Sam's avatar

TT - that would require actual study of history and using intelligence to draw parallels to the situation going on around us now.

The left appear to be completely incapable of doing this at any level - it's like trying to teach your dog to use a computer.

Tenaciously Terfin's avatar

I think my dog’s more intelligent than they are.

Sam's avatar

I have absolutely no doubt about that at all.

edward barrows's avatar

Perhaps they are all barking up the wrong tree TT.

The Martyr's avatar

You’ve nailed it again TT. We have allowed a captured education system to indeed infantilise and destroy critical thinking which used to be the bedrock of our best in the world education system. I remember being the first in my family to go to university in the late 70s and a lightbulb moment when I realised I was being taught to think for myself. Sadly it ain’t like that anymore.

Sam's avatar

It's almost as if people in the past knew that education was incredibly important and would shape the future of their civilization.

The Islamic/ Left alliance is an Anti White/ Anti Western alliance.

Which will ultimately implode over time.

The Left instead of focusing on the economic material intrests of the Working Class are just trying to help collapse the West. To destroy not to create. Pull down not build.

The only satisfaction people like us are going to get is saying “well we did warn you!”.

Ian Watkins's avatar

I don't want my granddaughter living with the consequences of their stupidity.....

Sue Ward's avatar

Me neither Ian. My granddaughter is 3.5. I’m terrified of the world she’s growing up in but I have a nagging fear we are past the point of reversing it. Balkanised Britain is coming.

Tenaciously Terfin's avatar

Yes, it’s terrifying.

More like Lebanon, I believe. I saw it in the early 1970's.

As Col. Richard Kemp notes - "There is no political off-ramp for what is coming".

Foxtrot Oscar's avatar

I saw a cartoon before the last election, it was a father coming out of the polling booth, and his little girl looked at him and said "who did you vote for daddy", and he looked down at her and replied "YOU"

I think the most significant bit of this is forcing the conversation out into the open. I once used the term ‘Pakistani muslim rape gangs’ on LinkedIn in and they refused to publish it, labelling it hate speech. How the hell are you supposed to address a problem if you are not allowed to talk about it?

pottybird53's avatar

So true Matt! Hopefully the 2 sides will destroy each other, and not our country or any decent European country for that matter. It's high time we decent people marches on Westminster and DEMANDED a general election! As you often say, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

The aroma of coffee isn’t strong enough yet, it’s also hampered by halfwits looking down their collective morally superior (in their minds) noses blocking out the bleedin obvious!

Wendy Collins's avatar

One of my frustrations is how to get these facts out to the wider public such as the Yonder report’s findings which Matt cites? The breadth of cover-up across the media astounds me.

Another example is the document that has surfaced this weekend (on X) showing Burnham’s team received permission for Number 10 North 3 days before Josh Simons stood down. Why is this not headline news today?

Thank goodness for Elon and X but it still doesn’t reach a wide enough audience.

Are our thoughts ever really with the affected? Especially when they are so far removed physically and culturally from us? Can we be honest about this and stop with the saccharine platitudes? I’m sorry this happened, this was evil and nobody deserves to be attacked in this way ever in any circumstances. Having said that I am not in a state of shock or grief as I would be if this happened to my family or to my neighbours. The old newspaper adage applies “ one Englishman is a story. 10 Frenchman is a story. 100 Germans is a story.. 1000 Indians is a story. Nothing ever happens in Chile.” So I care a lot about my family, community and people but not so much about people who are remote and who, in this case, stand somewhat in opposition to both my values and - as events now demonstrate - to common sense. I gave them a thought, a sad thought, but I am afraid I am not carrying this incident around in my heart or “standing” with anyone. I will probably say a prayer for them but it will be somewhat down the list after I pray for my husband, son, granddaughter, wider family, friends, church, political tribe, community, country, civilisation.

This contradiction exists on many levels and the Radical Left has closed its eyes to it, hoping that if the issues are ignored, they will go away. This is obviously not the case, and as Muslims increase in numbers and consequently assert their political influence, then the West and East will come into increasing conflict as politicians bend over backwards to capture their votes.

We see this in every aspect of our society, whether it be religion (where the Church of England, including the nominal head, King Charles, has already surrendered and is facing oblivion) or everyday facets of our society, where the Left pretends to be liberal and supports gay and women's rights, yet denies these same rights when they come into conflict with Islamic immigration. So women must be allowed to dress and behave as they please, but when this encourages Muslim men to abuse them, the Left turn away and say 'nothing to see here'. The same is applied to gay rights, which is a cornerstone of the Left, but when this clashes with basic Muslim ideology, nobody is willing to talk about the inevitable conflict that is raging. Make no mistake, Islam is not compatible with the West, and our leaders are doing nothing to protect our way of life, but are slowly surrendering to the Islamists.

Excellent analysis as ever Matt. Diversity is NOT our strength. INTEGRATION would be our strength but that isn’t encouraged and doesn’t happen. Why don’t the elites get it?

Lesley Snell's avatar

I don’t believe true integration is possible when the numbers of incoming are high. Look around the world , even America which is a nation of immigrants . Largely you have separate communities in peace and warring tribes when competition for resources or desire for dominance becomes high . Integration happens at the fringes or when immigrant numbers are small

The “liberal lefts” birthing mother was Marxism and that included violent revolution, a revolution that murdered between 30 to 60 million Russians. Had we not fought Germany and had Germany not turned on their supporters Russia, war with Marxism was a certainty. Today that war is in full flow. its weapons, indoctrination!

The Martyr's avatar

Not just its birthing mother but Marxism has been the liberal left’s doting parents in the form of Fabianism.

Simon Mansell's avatar

Instead of mass murder and violence- economic collapse being its default! I believe every member of the cabinet is a Fabian

The Martyr's avatar

Every one of them. I believe over 140 Labour MPs are Fabians. Look no further for who’s running the country.

Unfortunately our politicians and their quangos are imbibed with DEI, which infects them like a disease. Sadly these are equally very shallow people who happily follow the herd mentality. Nowhere do I see, in the near future a means to eradicate this mentality. This will therefore, as you make very clear, manifest itself in an increase in intolerance and violence towards minorities and women. As a retired detective I am overwhelmed by the increasing involvement of DEI in the training of recruits. They should be taught the art of arrest.

As an amateur Genealogist, one of my dream projects would be to study the Family Trees of a typical British Army Battalion, which is 650-strong.

Then I might study The Family Trees of, say, The Home Office Islamic Network , which is 700-strong.

Family Trees ? Oh, very sorry - I meant ‘Clan Structures’.

Just a daydream.

by Pamela Watson's avatar

There is a theory about exactly this.

Christianity fostered a society of trust between strangers because of individual responsibility and morals. Marrying outside the clan brings fresh DNA. Both foster individualism and different ways of thinking leading to the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution and modern Western society.

Tribal societies are based on clans. You marry within the clan. You support others only within your clan and defer to clan chiefs. It's a collective structure, there is no individual responsibility, no morals only rules. Both Marxism and Islam fit this structure.

Excellent piece Matt as always. The challenge is how to get this debate heard across the broader population without being cancelled/shut down.

Foxtrot Oscar's avatar

These problems have been evident for decades, but the media are complicit in covering them up along with our spineless politicians.

Yet we are allowing thousands of Hamas and Hezbollah supporting Jihadists into the country every week, and incredibly we are paying for them to stay here.

Our government can't even deport convicted rapists who have raped thousands of underage girls.

All they have to do is stop issuing visas from people in Pakistan to visiting the UK, and revoking all visitor and study visas already issued, then deport those people.

They could do that today, but they choose not to, because there is no will for the government to protect the people of the UK, they prefer to import millions of people with alien cultures who want to erase thousands of years of our traditions and culture.

Liberal ideology is a contradiction in every sense. Its purpose is to destroy our Christian democracy, and its followers will use any means possible to achieve their goal.Furthermore, political ideology and the mechanics of gay sex have no place in primary school classrooms.

Let’s hope these idiots now wake up to their ridiculous double standard and call intolerance out. Dished out by crazy fanatics, who are so brainwashed and utterly and completely arrogant in their belief that they have the right to determine whom dates whom or sleeps with whom. That is the bottom line. These madmen are so egotistical that they think they have the right to deny other people the choice to date members of their own sex, if they choose. The sheer and extreme arrogance of these brainwashed men is the problem. They need to learn a little humility. RIP to the deceased.
