Superb riposte to the ideological Left. Sadly facts and actual arguments will not change their minds. However they may change the minds of the great majority of voters who will listen to the arguments and make up their own minds about it. Well done Matt, keep up the good work.

enough said !I am absolutely fed up with

people inventing things Nigel Farage has supposedly said- it is relentless and I am so sorry these ' feminists ' have targetted you Matt .They are absolutely pathetic !

Telling lies is the only way they can operate .Sadly and very annoyingly some people believe them .

Love the idea of liberals and lefties dying out through lack of baby-making. What’s not to like? Can’t come soon enough.

Matt, there is nothing you can say that will be taken in good faith by people like those - don’t waste your breath. It is a compliment of sorts that all of the other parties are so desperate to smear Reform, which has come from nowhere in just a few years to be a major contender. That being said, the party does not help itself sometimes, does it? That is, to some extent, understandable given the need to grow very quickly but a more effective rapid rebuttal unit would be worth looking into as well as a better vetting process.

Brilliant piece Matt! As usual, these lefty woke lying idiots have no real argument, so they just defame their opponents by inventing slanderous so-called "facts". The more they do this, the more it helps Reform in my view. If you're a woman, VOTE REFORM!🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

For today's Left, victimhood isn't just a grievance – it's a political strategy. If they can't win an argument with facts, they'll simply invent one instead. Opponents are smeared, motives rewritten and perfectly reasonable debate is recast as oppression.

Take the latest row over Britain's collapsing birth rate. A proposal to discuss ways of supporting families somehow morphed into the absurd claim that childless women should be punished with higher taxes. It wasn't said, but that hardly mattered. Outrage travels faster than the truth, especially when amplified by the usual social media activists and self-appointed moral guardians.

This is modern progressive politics in a nutshell. Feelings trump facts, slogans replace evidence, and anyone daring to question fashionable orthodoxies is branded reactionary, extremist or worse. Imagined persecution has become a substitute for intellectual rigour.

Britain faces serious problems: an ageing population, record immigration, stagnant productivity and overstretched public services. Yet instead of confronting reality, too many on the Left retreat into a comforting fantasy where every disagreement is an attack and every critic is a villain.

Victimhood may harvest applause on social media, but it won't balance the books, build homes or secure Britain's future. A politics built on imagined grievances eventually runs out of real answers.

Although I am a champion of free speech I have moved to the point where I do think there should be consequences for lies in political campaigning . Obviously you can’t do much about the herd on social media but I do think elected politicians and their campaign staff should be subject to stricter rules on outright and misleading lies, and I think there should be requirements of journalists and podcasters , U tubers also to stop this swamp of misinformation that leaves ordinary people who are not political nerds not knowing what to think .

We can’t tackle everything by litigation but a few cases might send a message.

An example at the moment which has gained so much traction is Nigel’s inescapable £5 million where the circulating story is he will have to resign over it. I don’t think Nigel has made life easier by changing his story over what it was used for but it’s completely blocking any messages Reform are trying to get out

Lies Lesley and politicians are synonymous,we all know that we can always tell if a politician is lying by looking to see if their lips are moving but any attempt to legislate this unfortunate trait away is I am afraid doomed to frustrating despair.

Things never used to be this bad. And are deteriorating at the same time electoral corruption is on the rise. The wokerati are responsible by waiving the need for truth to be objective , instead it’s whatever they say it is. Societal norms need to change and regulatory assistance may be required. The speaker calls politicians out for unparliamentary language, and lying to the House is banned. This needs to be extended outside the House . The decline in manners and accepted societal norms and values have to be challenged .

People like the 'Guilty Feminist's positions don't even make logical sense. They hold so many contradictory ideas in their heads it's no wonder they are insane.

Well said superbly constructed argument that any normal functioning person would be persuaded to listen to and sincerely digest. I fear though that there are a great many of the opposite viewpoint out there and they take their campaigning very seriously. Nonetheless more of this type of riposte and challenge is needed. So keep it up Matthew!

Culture has to be underpinned by biology.

Simply put if western women decide not to have children at least to replacement value of 2.1 children per woman then western culture will disappear, to be replaced by a culture that encourages fertility, even if this is to the detriment of individual women.

In that regard 3rd and 4th wave feminism is an oxymoron.

Actually it’s is worse than that. Demographics is weighted towards earlier not later reproduction. Ie the younger a woman decides to have her children the more impact she makes on the demographic makeup of the next generation.

Western civilisation actively discourages earlier child birth ( now approaching 35years old for a woman to have her first child) it also encourages infertility with single sex partnerships.

With this in mind TBH I’m not sure western civilisation is sustainable.

Demographics are glacial in their impact and just as unstoppable

These liberal feminists have always wanted everything their own way and have ruined society. They can't see the wood for the trees and the sooner they are depleted the better! All extremists in different sections of society are the same. The world would be a better place without them!

Great article. The problem I hear also is women's propensity to bond with other women through venting. It is immature, but exists never-the-less. IMHO the left are masters of the vent. And promote it through their style of activism. Of course, it is mentally unhealthy. So now we are have strong women on the right having children, and mentally injured women on the left who cannot handle it. It is most prevalent with younger single women. Obviously, I speak in generalities, but it appears to be true. Many young leftist women are mentally unhealthy. It is indeed a crisis that is sinking the west. And sinking all the 'feminism' gains from the last one-hundred years. So go ahead lefty ladies. Vent about us men not taking out the garbage. And look the other way as 250,000 fellow women are abused and raped. So much for their sisterhood with those older than them. As my wife says, "Maybe women should never have been allowed to vote until they were married ." Just saying. 🤷‍♂️

Good stuff Matt, how about restoring the two child benefit , with an exception for those Brits that are 4th generation , to de-incentivise immigration and help integration,(long term}...

All your points are, as usual, correct. No need to worry though as our immigrants 'guests' are reproducing at the rate of 2.9 per woman and some Muslims have multiple wives so problem solved - or is it? We do live in a strange country and, as an 85 years old, it is markedly different to the one I knew in early adulthood. The key to reclaiming our country starts with free speech. I remember seeing 50/60 years ago that landladies could no longer put in the window adverts 'no dogs, no Irish, no blacks and I thought that this was the start of a limitation on free speech: I was right. We need to fight for unfettered free speech and other things will fall into place. KBO.
