I'm currently in the UK on vacation (from the US). Everyone you talk to is fed up with the state of things in the UK. All my old friends whom I visited are saying they will vote reform, and they all like Trump. These are all regular, middle class people.

Another in depth analysis of the situation we find ourselves in. If only there was a successful way the public could call for a GE now!

The public has, through the Petition website. Thousands already voted; and Starmer said no.

Rest assured everything that he now announces and does will be another nail in his coffin rhetorically speaking.

Unfortunately the petition doesn’t make one jot of difference 😢I signed both this one and the last one. He just ignores us.

The unhinged reactions to Reform are ludicrous, they’re a perfect example of DARVO- accuse others of what you are doing yourself….the unfairness, the authoritarianism , not to mention the scare tactics of Reform being like Trump, cancelling the NHS etc etc. The panic is clearly sending them even further round the bend than they were before. Goebbels would bf proud of them. We’re all going to just buckle down and be prepared for years of sneering, lying, propaganda and disinformation on a scale we’ve never seen before, even during Brexit. I can just picture the elites, fingernails out, desperately trying to cling on to power. I couldn’t despise them more for the destruction they are wreaking on this wonderful country.

Unhinged is right! I’m sure there will be a lot of their nonsense to put up with between now and the election. I have to say though, all the shrieking and pearl clutching coming from the Left is quite amusing.

Fairness, Mr Dale?

What about fairness for the majority for a change?

And should there ever be “blood on the streets” it will be at the door of those leftists who demonise ordinary hardworking patriotic people as “far right”.

Unfortunately Matt, I don't think that the people DID win in 2019, I think that we were manipulated to believe that we had won, but all that happened is that we were given a Trojan horse, in the shape of Boris, who, like Treason May before him, simply carried on the work of the Elites. After the Brexit shenanigans opened our eyes, I am of the opinion that perhaps we never had democracy in Britain, and that we simply had a charade all along and that the public were carefully and skilfully shepherded in the direction that the Elite wanted, until they came into direct confrontation with us during Brexit, and then we woke up to their lies. The fact that we never actually got Brexit and the fact that we never got control of our borders proves this point.

I sincerely hope Reform can deliver.

I still doubt Mr Farrage’s sincerity at this point on the immigration but there is clearly no alternative

I don’t doubt the massive headwinds Reform face from Ofcom, MSM, Courts and not least the civil service

Farrage therefore has many get out routes to then say “I tried but I was stopped…”

Let’s see what happens in Caerphilly next month as the first real test.

I guess if you live in Smugness-on-the -Wold like the LibDems, everything seems fine and dandy as the real world doesn’t impinge on you.

I do wish they’d try for a moment and see what it’s like to live in Rochdale, Oldham

, Bradford, Blackburn, Burnley, Rotherham, Luton, Peterborough etc etc.

Not good enough. The new policy barely affects Muslims: Bangladeshis and Pakistanis who's been here since the 1960. They are driving Islamisation. What are we going to do about them?

Graham L's avatar

All that civilized people need to "do" about them is live with them in peace, and ensure that as long as they obey the laws of this country, they are treated in exactly the same way as all other legal residents of the UK. That is different from ensuring we resist as well as we can any attempts to impose sharia law or to introduced blasphemy laws. We're not supposed to be turning into racist monsters who single them out as a category. You can't stick the troublemakers and the law-abiding workers into the same box - it's called "not fair", which is also "not British". And I know that Islam isn't a "race", it's a religion, but so is Judaism, and they're currently being singled out for some extremely bad treatment that is purely because they fall into a category, not because of what they as individuals are responsible for.

Live with them in peace? Because that worked so well in every country that today is now a Muslim majority country?

In my opinion:

"Law-abiding workers" who look the other way while children are being gang raped on an industrial scale, and even murdered, should be deported.

"Law-abiding workers" who hamper police investigations by playing the race card should be deported.

"Law-abiding workers" who want to impose Islam on Britain should be deported.

"Law-abiding workers" who hate Britain and hate British people should be deported.

I could go on.....and on....and on, but if you haven't got the point yet you never will.

As for "not fair", neither is being gang raped, murdered, forced into hiding to avoid being killed, etc. I'm far more concerned about the horrendous suffering of British victims of religiously motivated hate crimes than foreigners being inconvenienced by returning to their cultural homeland.

The one thing that is most likely to destroy what Farage is trying to achieve, is people making racist comments like this. People who have been here since the 60s are British. If you try clearing out all people of colour, you will kill the whole Reform plan for the future.

Matt, I see this as good prep for Reform to take power.

This establishment opposition is cranking up -

the same as before Brexit. Project Fear Reform will be seen off as before. Bring it on!

The Establishment understand us perfectly, and hate us for it. They think we're racist, smelly oiks who shouldn't be allowed to vote because, as Mussolini(!) said: the problem with democracy is the voters don't understand the issues or know what's best for them. That was Mussolini's justification for rejecting democracy, and it's pretty much the same argument the British Establishment used to justify their efforts to set aside the Brexit vote. (I actually found one thread on Twitter made up of Remainers proposing everyone should have to sit some kind of exam before they're allowed to vote!) Pretty ironic they're on the same side of history as Mussolini, but think everybody else is far right! 🙄

This post really gets to the heart of the matter. As we see every time Reform comes out with a common sense policy reflecting the views of the majority, the 20% have a meltdown. Set that against the polling and the huge gulf between the governing and the governed is laid bare. They wouldn’t see it with Brexit and they won’t see it now.

Go for it, Matt Goodwin. Go for it, Britain. Keep making it clear that the post-war consensus open-borders open-doors "liberals" have just lost touch with reality and are now the fringe extremists. Let's have ordinary things like sanity, a nation, pride in our past and our country, a non-brainwashing education system, and standards to be met in respect of law and immigration. Let's have somebody with the sense to ban any connections with the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, which even the major Muslim nations have had the sense to do. It's hardly asking for the unreasonable, is it? Does it sound like asking for "fascism"?! Or does it sound like asking for common sense and good lives for ordinary people?

Bravo Matt! Well said! Fighting talk! Let the battle commence! The idea for mass unvetted immigration as a weapon against western countries goes back to just after WW2, the policies gradually ramped up, reaching a peak with the Tories signing the Communist UN’s cunningly worded ‘Compact for Migration’ in 2018. For that treachery the political class must be exposed and never hold public office again.

Policies link together and this one will link with every story in the rest of this Parliament about inadequate public services from the NHS to roads and from housing to law enforcement.

When we are hit by large tax rises which will still not balance the budget the public will remember the billions being spent on low wage or no wage immigration under the Tories and continuing under Labour.
