Well, here it is —finally. The first big test of the current parliament —a parliamentary by-election in the northwestern and Labour-held seat of Runcorn and Helsby. I was in the seat this week, on the ground, talking to activists and touring the seat ahead of the election on May 1st. So here, exclusively for our paid subscribers, is my audio note and transcript from the seat, setting out the big issues, what I saw on the ground, and why I think this contest is very, very significant. I’ve also included a short video on what is one of the really big issues in this seat and some pictures from the campaign.
Thanks and Happy Easter-
Matt
