Quite so. I was also pretty unimpressed seeing Nadine Dorries headlining the conference - a Boris cheerleader if ever there was one... Didn't you just write recently about infiltration being one of the biggest threats to Reform UK?!

Yes, when I heard that Nadine Dorries was the latest Reform acquisition, my reaction was disappointment. (I was hoping for Jacob Rees Mogg, or some other heavyweight). I always felt that she was obsessed by Bojo, and as Matt Goodwin writes he is not to be trusted. I feel she is more interested in the welfare of Boris than Reform.

Blew it!! He screwed us good and proper!! What he did to Ulster will never be forgiven nor forgotten. The Tories are worse than Labour.

I think bringing Nadine Dorries into the Reform tent was a massive mistake. Experienced or not she still seems obsessed with Boris, criticising the Tories for replacing him with “duds”. A bigger dud than Johnson would be hard to find.

Nadine Dorries doesn't need a pledge card.

She needs to write out 100 times - "I will not endorse Boris ever again".

I got rather worried when I heard murmerings about Boris being asked to join Reform. What !!!

That would lead to a complete reversal of everything that Reform stands for. Keep him well away.

I was almost euphoric when Boris landed an 80 seat majority - gifted to him by Farage - I thought he would remake the country. Instead we were betrayed by a lazy liar. He did remake the country but not in the way I expected; what he did is literally unforgiveable.

I don't believe that NF is so stupid that he would give Boris a second chance after the way he wasted Nigel's gift!

Thank you Matt and team explaining, what is being stirred up, by the media.

Absolutely, nooooooo, to that man getting any where near to making policies, having anything, to do in government.

It was Shambolic and disgraceful, what he did, to the good people of Great Britain. Never again please.

Nigel will never trust Boris again, not just because of the immigration betrayal, but also for completely snubbing Nigel after he stood down all the Brexit Party candidates in Tory seats, enabling Boris to get an 80 seat majority.

Nigel did that because he feared a Corbyn government and that we would lose Brexit.

Boris banked Nigel's gesture, then shut him out of everything, didn't even thank him or reward him,, and then proceeded to completely botch Brexit leaving us half in the EU and open the immigration floodgates.

Anyone claiming that Boris should or even could join forces with Reform is utterly deluded. He cannot be trusted, and Nigel has said so.

Boris overcame intense competition to indisputably win the title of worst PM since WW2. He bankrupted the country by giving in to the “experts” on lockdowns and unaffordable furlough and bounce back payments but his most unforgivable crime was the lie about migration. Despite his promises, he set off in the opposite direction and deliberately turned a flood into a tidal wave. He would be more at home with Corbyn.

I think Starmergeddon is the worst PM since WW2, Boris is the second.

There are a number of correspondents in the legacy msm whose brief is to try and resurrect the Tory Party. Some of these articles could have been easily been penned by Conservative Central Office. Bringing useless wet liberal Johnson back being one of them. Yet another article at the weekend about a Tory Reform coalition. One today questioning Reform’s patriotism. But who can ever forget Sunak

going AWOL during the D-Day 80 Commendations to do an election interview. Compare and contrast Nigel Farage who supported our vets til the end.

Yep. Don't let 'em forget. It wasn't just about Partygate. BJ has many admirers still among Tory followers, despite being a classic old-fashioned politician, i.e. a lying opportunist narcissist. We need a new wave of straight talkers with some integrity and genuine honesty, not just who can make vote-grabbing noises and don't seem to really believe in anything.

Hit the nail right on the head with that article, Matt. I also hope everyone has learned the lesson too. The Boriswave was the result of lazy, thoughtless short termism from a lazy, deceitful prime minister. Whatever was unfolding before, he made it much, much worse. It would be a disaster if Johnson came within a mile of Reform. Nobody is willing to get fooled again.
